The heartbeat of our community is Sunday worship. Sunday mornings the people gather to worship the God made known in Jesus Christ, who we believe is our Creator, Loving Parent, and Friend; and to be together as a community of faith, hope and love.
We gather to encounter God in Word and Sacrament: to hear and to interpret the ancient text through which God still speaks today; to receive the Sacraments that bring us into the presence of God in water and in bread and wine. Visitors and seekers are always welcome. We practice eucharistic hospitality: people of all ages and faith communities are welcome to receive the bread and wine of communion.
We are sent forth to “be the church of Christ… wherever we live, work, rest and play.”
Worship is at 10:30 a.m. at our Savior’s (with an alternate service time and place at our sister church, Central Lutheran–just west of the corner of Albert St. and 12th Ave.).
